The Rebellious Heart by me, J. L. Russell, 5/10/2022.

Their hearts are different than others. When it was formed, it was molded, and something put inside it that in time would come out in a mighty way. Their hearts do not beat to the world. It did not conform to the ways of man. They were of a different kind. Their hearts seek after one thing, to beat for the One who gave everything. They know who they are, and they have become completely committed, giving all.

They do not seek to please man or the world, they seek to please God. Yes, they have a rebellious heart and oppose what many who walk in the world sees as right. They see the many in the world turning their hearts to man. Seeking mans ways, the world ways and they want no part of it. They have been forgiven and shown mercy and seek to please the One who means everything to them.

They want nothing to do with those whose ears are being tickled. "For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God's truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold, and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable]." (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

They are servants of God, mighty warriors, they cannot be moved by the world or man. They will fight with their last breath to do what God has put in their heart. Everything can be falling apart around them, yet they will not be moved. The devil cannot defeat them. People cannot disillusion them. Weather cannot weary them. Money cannot buy them. Governments cannot silence them and satan has no idea what to do with them. For they are a child of the most high God!
