IIT DREAMS
The Indian Institute of Technology are institutions of national importance established through an act of Parliament for fostering excellence in education. There are 15 IIT's at present located in Bhubaneshwar, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi, Patna, Punjab, Rajasthan and Roorkee. AIEEE AMBITION
All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2010 conducted by Indian Institute of Science and Technology India for admission to professional and technical programs in the country. Those appearing in 10+2 final or equivalent exam may also appear in AIEEE for consideration of provisional admission. For B.E and B.Tech courses through AIEEE one needs to study subjects like physics and maths and either chemistry, biotechnology, computer science or biology. For B.Arch or B.Planning one needs to have mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level. Candidate who have already availed 3 attempts or more will be permitted to appear in AIEEE 2010 as a last chance. Students can prepare for AIEEE 2010 as well as State level exams like GUJCET or MHCET for specific college admissions.
CAT CALLS
Common Admission Test is an All India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management(IIMs)at Ahmedabad, Calcutta, Bangalore, Indore, Lucknow and Khozikode considered to be the most prestigious B-schools in India. It is an entrance exam for students who want to pursue post graduate level management degree from world renowned IIMs. Performance in CAT followed by group discussions and personal interviews serves as the basis for admission.
