It's been about a year and a half or almost two of me producing music as of Feb 2022. The process is endless and continues. I'm currently working on my second full length LP.
However, this LP called "Spaces" which released at midnight on 25th February, is my debut LP, which comprises of tracks I made last year during #COVID lockdown.
It's got some rich organic sampling, elements and beats that are quite groove filled. It's also got some lyrics in English and French that I sampled. There are also some parts I played on my acoustic guitar.
It's my own take on a mixture of the genres Electronica and Downtempo that I've branded as "Downtronica".
Tracks like "A Bouquet Of Stars" were made for all those people who have lost loved ones because of COVID.
And it's even more relevant with the crisis in Ukraine.
It's the best track on the album.
You can listen to it here:
Other tracks like "Brooklyn Heart" and "Chasing Sunsents" have French lyrics in them that are quite deep.
The lyrics on "Brooklyn Heart" translate to this:
French:
Tu me dis que rien ne passe Même au bout d'un moment Qu'un beau jour c'est une impasse Et derrière l'océan
Que l'on garde toujours la trace D'un amour, d'un absent Que tu refais surface Comme hier droit devant
English:
You tell me that nothing passes Even after a while That a beautiful day it is an impasse And behind the ocean
That we always keep track Of a love, of an absentee That you resurface As yesterday straight ahead
Here's Brooklyn Heart:
Other tracks evolve from Downtempo beats for "Bombay Rain" and "Tea For Two" and more vibrant grooves with tracks like "Mountain Call", "And They Played Bossa Nova" and "Dancing With Whales".

Ghost Intent, a multi-genre musician and producer from Bombay, India is out with his debut LP titled "Spaces".
The inspiration for this album was the vivid and constantly changing backdrop of the trip that experienced in the wide-open spaces of travels to the places across India and around the world that he's experienced, armed with nothing but a guitar and a DJ controller, and a laptop, finding himself in different places and spaces where a multitude of music and the views were the most inspiring thing that gave birth to this album.
As a budding musician, Downtempo and Electronica were the preferred genres of making Electronica music. Artists like Bonobo, Tor, Four Tet and Tosca, Jose Padilla, Lemongrass, Soul Ballet, Alex Cortiz, and others would make for inspiration for this project. While trying to carve out his own niche sound called 'Downtronica' an exploration of the culmination of both genres, Ghost Intent's "Spaces" makes for an admirable project and listen.
From a wide variety of sounds to delectable beats and grooves "Spaces" comes ready to go to announce Downtronica and Ghost Intent to the world of Electronic projects. Play this on your next scenic journey into the unknown!
