Shakesperience Productions, Inc., located in Western Connecticut, is looking for a scenery designer for a Shakespeare in the Park production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. 

The scenery designer will work with the director and production manager to create the stage and scenery in keeping with the director's vision and world of the play. The scenery designer will provide renderings, elevations, ground plans, and a model of the stage and scenery. Additionally, the designer will paint the set once it is built. 

Schedule includes: 

∙ Production meetings, with increasing frequency as necessary 

∙ Tech Monday & Tuesday, August 1st and 2nd. 

∙ August Performances Wednesday the 3rd  through Sunday the 7th. 

Candidates should be able to communicate effectively as a team member, problem-solve, and stay within budget and on schedule.
