So… this is odd. I'm for the first time using my brand-new keyboard. It's very different from my ergonomic board in a few ways. The "wrist rest" is collapsible, which gives me more space cos I'm keeping it collapsed.
The design reminds me of the 1970s keyboard my mother had. She had these ridiculously extended keys. But then that reminded me of my grandmother's Royal typewriter. I tested that thing. Because of all the moving parts, I was unable to type anything at all with my semi-normal typing speed.
I—supposedly—use touch typing, so I'm attempting to minimize how much I'm looking down at the keyboard.
… It's funny.
I almost feel better at the idea of using two keyboards at one time. This board is backlit, which is what I've wanted for a long time.
I really wish that I could combine this keyboard with my ergonomic with the backlit board.
What's even more fascinating about it… is that the backlit colors can be changed to suit what you want. Right now, I have it set on a RGB theme, like the ergonomic gaming mouse that I use.
And speaking of mice, I have a brand-new Logitech mouse. This one is interesting.
Like the keyboard, it has a bunch of buttons for different functions. And… it has a purplish glow where the logo is.
Do I know or understand the functions and all the buttons that these devices have? Nope, but I do have instructions. There are commands built into the keyboard to enable me to open other programs.
There's even a command to open the calculator. Another command opens my media player. One of the commands enables me to change the colors that the keyboard has a backlights.
Now that?
That's special.

I guess the only way for me to get better with this keyboard is to use it. Which is great, because I have all of Chapter 25 of NtC to write… and then edit.
And I have more of the story to brainstorm… and figure out. Then, I need to come up with attention grabbing titles.
So much to do… with so little time.
I think aside from this blog post… that my lesson will be next in use. I should have a better handle on it now.
