I had gotten up after having a dream and came into the living room. I then was given a vision.
I found myself standing outside of a huge house. Connected to the house was a three car garage. It was two stories in height and was so big that I had to turn my head to take it all in. My attention was then draw to the house and God revealed much of what was happening inside it behind closed doors. As I stood there I was seeing inside the home, having a vision. I knew what was going on and it wasn't good.
I saw a woman in her bedroom who was on the floor, leaning against one of the walls. She had tears pouring and her spirit had been broken years before that day. Her husband was abusive. Many times he beat her, then made her cover up the bruises. He also made her lie about why she didn't go places. That day was no different, he once again beat her, then left for the evening.
She dealt with the beatings because she had a life she always dreamed of having. The expensive vehicles, the mansion, money but there was a cost to those things for her. The cost was dealing with being beaten many times over.
Suddenly, as she sat there with tears pouring, her heart broken from the years of abuse something happened. A light appeared in front of her, up toward the ceiling. She looked up seeing it, then stood up. Something was pulling her to get up and move. She had no idea right then what the light was, she just knew it was time to get away.
She couldn't stop, she grabbed a piece of luggage and threw a few things inside and as she made her way down the stairs she called a cab. I was suddenly outside again and watched as she got into a cab and left never looking back. I prayed for her, whoever she is, that she realizes that she is worthy of true love. I also prayed her eyes become focused on the Lord and not the things of the world.
We never know what goes on behind closed doors. Many think because someone is rich, that they have it made but there are people who endure many things, terrible things, in mansions as well as small homes.
"In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words." (Romans 8:26).
