There are times I believe that you are given a dream not only to show you God is with you but also so you can laugh a little. The other night when I had five dreams, one of them was about alligators.
I suddenly found myself walking in a field and I could see a ditch out in front of me. As I got closer, I heard someone yell out to me. They yelled "Watch out there are gators in the ditch." I walked up to the ditch and had a look, then smiled. All I saw were baby alligators, they were maybe three feet or so in length.
I continued on my walk, jumping over the ditch and started walking along the side. As I walked many of the gators tried to jump up, snapping at me to grab a hold of me, they were to my right just a little behind me. I busted out laughing and said you have got to be kidding me. As I continued on my walk, they continued to jump up toward me but were not allowed to touch me. I was laughing so hard in the dream.
I finally got past the jumping snapping gators and kept going. As I walked, I heard something behind me. I turned slightly because I wanted to see what it was but didn't stop walking. What I saw were two birds, there was a small white bird and a medium size white bird. They came up to my feet, the shoes I had on and landed on them. The medium size bird landed on my right shoe and the other on my left. I laughed even more seeing this, then the dream ended.
I know the gators were the little things that satan tries to put on our path, our walk with God. They suddenly appear hoping to get to us, snapping at us trying to aggravate us. I was laughing because I didn't allow it to get to me and God was also protecting me. I saw it coming, God revealed the tricks of the enemy to me.
As for the two white birds, I believe they were two angels sent to me. They were different sizes because they were sent for two different things. They landed on my feet, my shoes, to guide me on the path that leads me even closer to Him. I believe they will always be with me like the others because they landed on my shoes and stayed.
As for the laughing, I think God wanted me to laugh and I did, a lot in the dream. I know God has me covered, watching over me in my dreams as well as when I am wake. The funny thing is that I believe I woke myself up laughing. LOL!!!
"For He will command His angels in regard to you, to protect and defend and guard you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you do not [even] strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and cobra; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot." (Psalm 91:11-13).
