It's been crazy busy these past few days, and I finally had some time to sit down and write some things out. It's been about five days since my last writing to be exact - but that wasn't intentional! It seems like the days keep getting a little more hectic as the baby's due date is getting closer. We've been rushing around getting things ready, or things have come up and I just haven't had the time to write because I've been so exhausted.
Yesterday for example, we were out doing some errands and my wife thought her water broke. We quickly rushed around the house to pack our bags, and then ventured to the hospital. To make a long story short, her water didn't break. It wasn't urine or anything like that, but a form of condensation! The doctor gave the example of the amniotic sac being like a glass of ice water in the heat, and that it can drip and collect moisture. The liquid was clear in color and odorless, so it could very well have been amniotic fluid. I've never heard of such a thing before, and even with the example, I'm still so confused!
I was so excited that our little guy was going to be out already...but he's still living it up and getting that womb service!
On a much happier note, a few of our friends and family put together a baby shower for us at our church on Sunday, and it was absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much everyone! We had such a nice time playing games, eating food, and opening presents. Here's a picture of my beautiful wife and I at our event:
My stomach's been acting up a bunch lately as well, and I wonder if I've just got a really bad case of that sympathy pregnancy sickness. None of the medicine I've been taking has seemed to help that much anyway. Hopefully I'll be put on the insurance soon and I can get checked out a little better if the prego sickness isn't the issue. Regardless, heal me O Lord Jesus!
Thank you all for tuning in and reading! Need prayer? Let me pray for you! Feel free to LIKE, COMMENT, and FOLLOW for more! Thanks so much for reading and supporting all that God is doing!!
