SUNDAY NIGHT CHORAL CONCERT ' Hail ,Gladdening Light ' at English Martyrs Church on Sunday 13th  March at 7.30pm . Given by our wonderful local Choir Sine Nomine who have sung in many Cathedrals  and Churches throughout the country to great acclaim. Free Admission but Retiring Collection for Myton  Hospice. Don't miss the chance to hear some wonderful music and great singing from the Choir celebrating their 20th anniversary.  

WALKING TOGETHER/ SYNODALITY QUESTIONNAIRE. Work is going on to prepare the ten page diocesan report which will be published in the diocese. It will be sent to the Bishops Conference who will produce a national report. Fr . Thanks again for your responses and cooperation .  

DEANERY CHANGES : as a result of the revision of the deanery structure in the diocese the Rugby part  of the Rugby Deanery (St Maries, Sacred Heart and English Martyrs ) will be joining Warwick Deanery to  form Rugby and Warwick Deanery. The Nuneaton area Parishes will be joining Coventry Deanery.  

LIVESTREAM UPDATE :will be livestreaming the Saturday evening Mass from Sacred Heart and the  11am Sunday Mass from English Martyrs. We will be livestreaming weekday Masses as shown above.

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION:  

First Holy Communion Preparation The next ses sion for Children will be on Monday 14th March at  6pm.Later in the year after Easter we are planning  another series of classes for those who need to  begin their preparation . This is open to young peo ple from Sacred Heart and English Martyrs Parishes. 

Confirmation Preparation Programme continues  Thursday, 24th March in the Sacred Heart Parish  Hall, 7—8 pm. Confirmation will be celebrated on  Sunday, 22nd May at 9.30 am Mass.  

Thanks to those running both preparation classes  for their time and commitment. 

RUGBY GREEN CHRISTIAN GROUP EVENT

HELPING UKRAINE. The best way to help is to donate money not goods. You can do this through  CAFOD which I s part of the Disaster Emergencies  Appeal for Ukraine of other mainline charities. .  They will work through Caritas Ukraine which is on  the ground to provide support and help to the  needy. You can donate directly via the CAFOD web site.  

FRIENDS OF THE HOLY LAND – COME AND MEET  LAILA ASFOURA FROM BETHLEHEM 

Wednesday 23 March. 7pm in the Parish Centre, St  Francis Church, Warwick Road, Kenilworth CV8 1HL.  You are warmly welcomed to meet Laila Asfoura  from Bethlehem, who will share the latest situation  in the Holy Land, the work of FHL and answer any  questions. Laila is the Founder Member of FHL's lo cal Committee. A buffet supper is being arranged  with a cash bar. Tickets £10 pp are available from
