[New post] What does the Liberty Bell and a Bible verse have to do with one another?

As I was in the living room praying, talking with God in the early part of Sunday morning. I suddenly heard the following. "It's the year of Jubilee." I then heard. "It has to do with atonement." I really did not know much of anything about either one of them. God then said, "Look it up!" So, I did just that. I found out that Sunday was truly the start of Jubilee. Which was pretty cool, knowing He said that to me.
Leviticus twenty-five doesn't really mention debt--but the Jubilee is all about debt cancellation, restored community, and freedom from debt bondage. It's spoken about in Deuteronomy 15, Exodus 21:2 and 23:10-11.
There is an inscription on the Liberty Bell that might be off interest to some people. Most of the American people and most of the world doesn't know that it has something to do with the Day of Atonement and the Jubilee Year. This is what is inscribed on it. "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof." That bible verse is found in Leviticus 25:10. Leviticus 25:8-12 says the follow.
"You are also to count off seven Sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years, so that you have the time of the seven Sabbaths of years, namely, forty-nine years. Then you shall sound the ram's horn everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month (almost October); on the Day of Atonement you shall sound the trumpet throughout your land. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim freedom [for the slaves] throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee (year of remission) for you, and each of you shall return to his own [ancestral] property [that was sold to another because of poverty], and each of you shall return to his family [from whom he was separated by bondage]. That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee for you; you shall not sow [seed], nor reap what reseeds itself, nor gather the grapes of the uncultivated vines. For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its crops out of the field." This is not happening because of great GREED across the world!
Leviticus 25:21 "Then I will COMMAND MY BLESSING upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years."
Can you imagine God COMMANDING His blessings upon us? He will not just give it to us, send it to us, or grant blessings upon us, but He will COMMAND His blessings upon us. Notice the type of blessing. It will not only last for one year or two years, but THREE YEARS! How awesome is that! The blessing is not just enough to feed our hunger, but God said something more in verse nineteen. That "You shall eat your FILL!" We shall not be found wanting. Wow!
What topped it off and really hit home. When we went to Sunday night service and our Pastor spoke about the same things. That's all GOD! Confirming exactly what He spoke to me. Thank you, God!
